Apple has launched its app accelerator in Bangalore. Tim Cook had announced it during his visit to India last year, and now it is up and running. This is the first country outside the US where Apple has set this up.
“In just the first few weeks, we’ve already seen some incredible developers here at the App Accelerator Bengaluru create innovative apps that can meet the needs of customers in India and around the world,” says Apple SVP Philip Schiller.
- Apple experts will guide developers in using the latest tools and technologies to build apps at the accelerator on iOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS.
-
Developers will also learn how to create the user experience that is associated with Apple products.
-
India has one of the world’s biggest developer communities which has created over 100,000 apps for the Apple Store. The accelerator program is free for those selected.
